This teen comedy really captured my attention from beginning to the end.The protagonist is based on stereotypes of a teen nerd; goofy facial expressions and goofy props such as a very large backpack and glasses. The other characters are your typical dominant teen characters in a school setting, mainly black males who are intimidating and troublesome. This use of binary opposition makes the film exciting and creates enigma as they would want to know if and how the nerd would survive in their “survival of the fittest” world.
The music is non digetic and really links well with the genre and storyline, making it lively and comical.
